Chapter Wins Award and Grant For Upcoming Confidence Coalition Event

Congratulations to Phi Epsilon-Colorado State for receiving its school’s Presidential Greek Vision Award based on the chapter’s proposal of a weeklong Confidence Coalition event that is tentatively set for Aug. 30-Sept. 3, 2010. Along with a trophy bearing KD’s letters, the chapter received a $1,500 grant to help fund the event. Phi Epsilon plans to coordinate the event with campus offices, organizations and clubs, as well as Fort Collins companies. Phi Epsilon members also will present information on the Confidence Coalition during freshman orientation and visits to local middle schools and high schools. In addition to promoting self-confidence in Greek and unaffiliated women on campus, chapter President Kathryn Short says the group hopes to “build campus unity and enhance the involvement and reputation of Greeks."

During Greek Night Out at Colorado State University, Phi Epsilon Kappa Deltas proudly display the awards they received, including the Presidential Greek Vision Award for the chapter’s upcoming Confidence Coalition event.
