ALABAMA - The Delta Sigma - South Alabama CAB will be having a Fall Kickoff Event on Wednesday, August 11. We will meet at 6:30 pm at the KD house. This event is open to all alumnae. DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA - Join members of the Washington, D.C. alumnae chapter on August 21 at 4 p.m., place to be determined, for its annual membership drive. Don't miss the Membership Drive BBQ this summer! We'll be able to escape some of the heat with a picnic/BBQ at sister Kim's house. All WDCAC of KD members and their families are invited. If you haven't renewed your membership yet, this is a great opportunity to do so as membership forms will be available to fill out. Come enjoy hamburgers, hot dogs, lemonade, and games. Burgers and hot dogs will be provided, but please bring a side dish to share. Kim's house is a half mile from the Brookland metro and there is also ample street parking available. Members will also be making some crafts for the NIH Thoughtful Treasures program at the BBQ. One of these projects uses recycled crayons, (i.e. crayons that are broken or used).
