KD Interviews Oprah!

Kristy Nicholas, an alumna of Sigma Epsilon-Texas, had a rare opportunity to turn the tables on Oprah when the talk-show host allowed readers of her signature magazine, O, to interview her for the May 2010 issue, the publication’s 10th anniversary edition. Kristy was one of 10 women from across the nation who were selected through a contest where they each submitted three questions they would like to ask Oprah.

After attending a taping of Oprah’s show, the select group met with the star in her Chicago office where Oprah said that she was ready to kick off her shoes, let her hair down and dish. Kristy says, “We were allowed to ask Oprah any question. Nothing was off limits, and Oprah was just as fabulous as she appears on TV – more so even in person!” Kristy asked Oprah about her plans for the morning after her last show airs and received this answer from the star: “Sleep in - Because that’s going to be a really big party.”
