Neva Hudiburgh Cochran

Neva Hudiburgh Cochran, Gamma Theta - Oklahoma was honored as the 2009 recipient of the Dallas Dietetic Association Media Award. This award recognizes individuals who have used the media to make a positive contribution to the profession of dietetics or to the promotion of nutrition and dietetics. During her career, Neva has participated in over 800 nutrition-related media interviews. She served for five years as the Texas Dietetic Association media representative and for another seven years as an American Dietetic Association media spokesperson. Neva has also been a writer and researcher for Woman's World magazine for 15 years and Maximum Fitness magazine for five years as well as serving as a media spokesperson for food industry clients. She is currently in her second year as public relations chair for the Richardson/Plano Kappa Delta alumnae chapter.
